Security Bank Supports Growth of OFW Entrepreneurs

Friday, October 25, 2013

The OFW remittances in the country continue to grow.  Just recently, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) reveals that remittances from January to August amount to $14.5 billion, 5.91% higher compared to the $13.733 billion for the same period last year.

Security Bank, one of the leading financial services and solutions providers, offers its remittance and loan products for OFWs and their beneficiaries.  These products respond to the needs of OFWs as investment and savings options that will allow their money to grow.

This is the reason why Security Bank is supporting the 10th MegaBalikbayan OFW Expo, an advocacy expo that promotes entrepreneurship and business to OFWs and Balikbayans.

Security Bank will present various remittance products to potential OFW entrepreneurs to explore business opportunities from the traditional cash pick-up services to real-time credit to bank fund transfers and the cutting edge cardless ATM withdrawal.  For individuals, the Bank will offer card products, and Home and Auto Loan services. Security Bank believes that if OFWs will invest their money they can enjoy a better and sustainable quality of life upon their retirement to work.

MegaBalikbayan OFW Expo is slated this December 10 to 11, 2013, SMX Convention Center.  The event continues to grow in assisting OFWs and Balikbayans in finding business opportunities and legal financial investments.

The highlights of the event are business opportunities, free learning sessions and the 5th Outstanding OFW and Balikbayan Reputation Award (OBRA).

This event is produced and organized by Ex-link Management and Marketing Services Corp. For inquiries call 643-3887/ 234-1341 or 42 or email at info@exlinkevents.com.
