International Sales Expert and Author Tom Abbott will be in the country this March for the second Sales Leadership Masterclass to be held at the Tower Club, Makati. Tom is into the solutions-focused style of sales training, and today we'll share our understanding of some of his lessons.
Once upon a time there has been a team meeting, and everyone was talking about their best methods. When asked by their team lead, they shared the ways they get hold of clients.

The lead then asked them to list all of those ways and have everyone do it. By the next meeting, everyone had an assessment of the practices - some worked, some didn't - and has agreed that the practices that worked will be done in the succeeding weeks.

They do this every quarter.
One thing we should notice is that while they are sticking on the best, most effective method, times also change and so these methods will be outrun by more effective strategies. Overall, focusing on the solutions that work will save everyone the time and the hassle - if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
